Velma Ruth Lange, 90, of Collinsville, Ill., born Oct. 31, 1925, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, in St. Louis, Mo.
Velma was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., where she belonged to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Ladies Aid where she held officer positions in both respectfully.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin & Esther, nee Heinicke, Fedder; brothers, Earl Fedder and Donald Fedder; sister, Betty Shadwick.
Surviving are her children, Karen Bentley of Collinsville, Ill., Kevin (Elaine) Lange of Bellaire, Tx.; grandson, Eric Lange; sister in law, Doreen Fedder of Collinsville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may visit the family 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Rev. Kyle Wright officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
