Condolence: My deepest condolences. I met Mr. Runge 40 years ago as a young prosecutor. His reputation as a forceful advocate preceded him and my first felony trial was against him. Three years later I went into personal injury defense work and worked with him many more years and you always had you hands full. My law partner Harry Armstrong tired many cases with him and sometimes they would try a case over who paid the court costs, which then were only $56 ! He began to assign me cases against him to try my luck.
I became better acquainted with him while traveling to depositions together and heard all about his family, their accomplishments. He was very proud.
