Barbara Arnold
Barbara D. Arnold, nee MacCubbin, of Glen Carbon, Ill., born January 30, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, died at 7:32 P.M. on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at her residence.
Ms. Arnold graduated from Towson High School in 1963 and the University of Miami, Fla., in 1968. She went on to become an elementary school teacher and business owner of Treasures of the Heart. She loved to laugh and spend time with friends and family. She will be remembered for her determination and will to live, as well as her beautiful smile.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Lillian, nee Thomas, MacCubbin; and her husband, Joseph V. Arnold Jr.
Surviving is her daughter, Hanje (Brandon) Kelley of Edwardsville, Ill.; step-son, Duane (Carla) Arnold of Maryville, Ill.; sister, Betty (Jack) Barden of Ashburn, Va.; brother, Robert (Lynda) MacCubbin of Ocean Pines, Md.; three grandsons, Bronson, Connor and Chase Kelley; two step-granddaughters, Brittany and Alexis Arnold; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: A visitation for Barbara will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville.
Services: A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville. Fr. John Beveridge will officiate. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville.
