Condolence: I was sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I have known her for a long time. She lived next door to my Aunt Charlene in Caseyville, and was my Uncle Russell's partner. May God Bless the family. Prayers are coming your way.

Condolence: To Chris, Cheryl, Don, Jean and the entire Watkins and O'Mara families. I am so sad to learn about the demise of Patti. I was out of town for a few days and then terribly busy with some other projects and did not read the paper and I am so sorry to have missed her service. She was just at my moms service on April 10 and it was so good to see her there. She looked so well and happy. We have a lot of good memories that go back many many years and my daughter Brenda also sends her condolences. May the peace of God comfort you and guide you in this time of need.

Condolence: Pat was fun to volunteer with and I enjoyed her company--saw her every Fri. for 6 years and Minds Eye was a better place for knowing her.

Condolence: Ms. Watkins was a very special person. I grew up caddy corner across the street from her in Caseyville where my mom still lives. When I was a child she would always be there for me after school, especially during storms and look out for me. Even up until her passing she stayed a part of my life and we kept in touch and talked often. She was so happy about my new baby girl. She was a surrogate grandmother to me. My mom and I will miss her terribly. My prayers go out to her family.

Condolence: Chris, I was sorry to hear about your mother this morning. From the first time I met her when we became friends while we were at Assumption she was always nice to us as we came by the house. Recently looking at our 32-year old wedding videos, she and your grandmother, Mrs O'Mara, are right there at the Mass at St. Albert's, clearly happy to be sharing our day with us. That's how I remember her, always entertained, but always wary, about whatever we were doing. Over the years I was truly amazed at how wise she was about so many things and how easily and well she dealt with people from all walks of life and on so many levels. A really great person,
